Schloss Schönbrunn, the Imperial Palace. This impressive example of secular baroque architecture was built on the peak of Habsburg power and modelled after Versailles in Paris. It was the summer residence of the Imperial Family and is now Austria′s number one tourist attractions with millions of visitors every year. It includes a greenhouse (see the previous picture), a garden palace (the "Gloriette") and the World′s oldest (and very fine) zoo.
